Upcoming
Molavi Traditional Music Night
Date
Every Friday evening, after opening
Location
The complex's central courtyard
As the sun sets, the complex's central courtyard becomes home to traditional musicians. The sound of santur, tar, kamancheh, and daf fills a space framed by Qajar-era tilework, creating a distinctly nostalgic atmosphere. Visitors gather around the courtyard, sipping tea and sampling sweets from the nearby stalls as they listen in quiet appreciation. The program is part of the complex's effort to keep authentic Persian music alive within a setting that is itself over a century old. Different ensembles of young and experienced musicians perform each week, so no two nights sound quite the same.
