The Sar-e Qabr Agha building is a striking example of grand Qajar-era residential architecture: a courtyard-centered layout in which every principal space, from the ivans to the surrounding rooms, is arranged around a central courtyard and pool. Tall ivans with wooden columns and brick arches play with light and shadow, offering welcome coolness through Tehran's hot summers. The exterior facade, with its delicate brickwork, geometric framing, and colorful tilework, showcases the blend of function and aesthetics typical of Qajar design. In the recent restoration, great care was taken to preserve and recreate these original elements so that today's visitors can experience something close to the building's authentic atmosphere.
